My god I'm craving chips. I nearly bought some potato chips today. All they had was potatoes, oil and salt, but, according to the package, the oil MIGHT be corn oil. Damnit. I may make one more exception and that will be it...cause sometimes, I just want the salty chips. The rice crackers I have are soy sauce flavored so I can't touch them for at least a month, until I figure out if I want to add soy back into my diet.

Also, I'd like to know what I could use with sushi instead of soy sauce. I like the saltiness it adds to my veggie rolls. Decisions.

I'm making a big batch of red beans and rice tonight so I'll have something that is hot and filling. Hope it turns out well. :)

Ok, here goes (again).

No Sugar
No Dairy
No Caffeine
No Alcohol
No Gluten
No Corn
No Soy

For four weeks to see if any of those things are affecting me.

NOTE: Two exceptions are the rice milk I have. It claims to have 0.002% gluten from barley. That is not enough for me to worry about if it means that I cannot have any sort of milky thing in my cereal. Also, my doc wants me to drink at least 2 glasses of Green tea each day. I will buy decaf (though it never really is), but I still have some caffienated and caffienated red/white tea that is made. Those will be exceptions to the rules. Spiral diner here I come.

Well, I've been doing Eat to Live, though not regimentally, for almost two weeks and have lost 10lbs. This is including exercising six days a week, which I have actually managed.

Today, I went for a walk around the jogging trail at school and decided to go ahead and run periodically. I figure I ran a total of about 3-4 minutes, that being split up along the trail. Unlike the last time I tried something like this, I didn't feel like God had come down and smacked me upside the body and my breath wasn't as labored. Certainly, I was breathing hard, but not like I was gonna die. :) I could also keep the intervals up longer.

This makes me happy and pretty excited. Right now, I'm craving the salad I made yesterday but never got a chance to eat. :) I think that will become my second breakfast.

I started my period yesterday and was having such a craving for Pringles and dark chocolate. I could not find the Pringles, so I got crackers instead, mostly looking for some starchy sugar there. I also got a bar of Hershey's Special Dark, which is as close to dark chocolate as one can get at a convenience store. I had three little squares and was so done with it. Still have most of the bar left, though I tried to give it away!!

I've also had a butterscotch the last two days, but only one. Used to be that I would grab one candy per session. Now they are all a bit too sweet. I think this is a good thing. :) It is gradual, but my craving for candies and desserts is fading. I still think of them, but not really with the longing that I used to have.

Today feels wonky on the food. Craving salt badly, and actually craving meat. I'm likely going to start my period tomorrow or Wednesday. At least sometime this week. Gonna do better tomorrow.

Several Baby carrots with hummus
2 snap peas (I may have to get some of those..mmm)
1 apple

10 almonds (raw)

Again, officially my day off, but We walked all around downtown all day, up stairs and down stairs, so I ended up with steady exercise, if not a hard cardio workout. :) In fact, I'm officially taking today off because my legs are quite irritated with me. I'm going to stretch them a bunch today and loosen them up with housework. :)
